Here's what's trending for February 8.

As the state continues to roll out the COVID-19 vaccine, more than 3-million Pennsylvanians are now eligible to receive the first dose. The Pennsylvania Department of Health is providing several resources for residents to find out if they are eligible or not. Additionally, the state Department of Health website has a list of providers administering the vaccine based on residents' location.

President Joe Biden is calling on Congress to move forward with his proposed $1.9 trillion COVID relief package. The House plans to discuss the specific provisions of the bill today. Democrat Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey says there are three key provisions that the bill has to include. "One, is to do everything we can to invest in a speeded up vaccination program so that we're getting tens-of-millions Americans their shots as soon as possible," Casey said. He says the other two provisions are getting schools reopened and making sure direct relief is provided. Some Congressional Republicans argue the bill is too expensive and adds onto an already huge national debt.

New Jersey is reporting another case of the UK coronavirus variant. This time the case was reported in a resident in Trenton. City officials made the announcement over the weekend, saying the individual has since tested negative and another person in their household is undergoing the same testing. The first two cases of the same variant, which is though to spread faster and more easily, were reported in the state on January 22nd.

The second impeachment trial of now-former President Donald Trump begins tomorrow. Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Pat Toomey says there's little, if any, chance Trump will be convicted. "We did have 45 Republican senators vote to suggest that they didn't think it was appropriate to conduct a trial, so you can infer how likely it is that those folks will vote to convict," Toomey says. He says he'll listen to the cases that are presented by each side.

We picked up a couple more inches of snow Sunday and Accu-Weather's Joe Lundberg says more is on the way. "It looks like we're going to get more snow tonight like probably 3 or 4 in the morning till midday tomorrow or shortly there after. So it's about the same duration as this last event. I think it's going to have the same impact on our area. A little more up in the Poconos and a little less here in the valley cities, but there's going to be new snow on the ground tomorrow morning for sure," Lundberg says. He believes the immediate Lehigh Valley should pick up an inch or two of snow before then change over to sleet and rain Tuesday afternoon. More snow is possible Thursday.
